Jayme Servia is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner seeing patients at West Grove Clinic in Milwaukee, WI. She received both her Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) and Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
Jayme’s approach centers on creating a safe, inclusive, non-judgmental space where individuals can openly discuss their struggles. Using evidence-based strategies, Jayme treats individuals with substance use and/or mental health disorders. Jayme is knowledgeable in current and emerging medications for treatment of substance use disorders, including naltrexone and buprenorphine products. Jayme also has experience treating depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, and other psychiatric conditions. With over 7 years of inpatient, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient psychiatric nursing experience in Milwaukee County, Jayme brings a unique perspective that emphasizes holistic, trauma-informed care that prioritizes both the mind and body. Through education, fostering trust, and building strong therapeutic relationships, Jayme empowers her patients to build resiliency, create a meaningful life, and achieve lasting recovery.
With familial roots in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, Jayme is passionate about improving access to substance use and mental health treatment in rural settings. Jayme also has a special interest in reducing provider and community stigma related to substance use and mental health disorders. Outside of work, Jayme enjoys going on hikes with her dog, trying out new restaurants, and traveling.
