Selahattin Kurter, M.D.

Selahattin Kurter is a Board Certified General Psychiatrist and has special interest in Addiction Medicine. He was raised in Milwaukee. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin Medical School. After completing his internship in Internal Medicine, he started his residency in Psychiatry at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He was chief resident, an honorary position, the last year of his residency. He is currently an assistant clinical professor at the Department of Psychiatry, Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Kurter is a certified Suboxone provider for opioid dependence. Dr. Kurter also provides treatments for alcohol dependence. Dr. Kurter believes in combining innovative medication technologies with psychotherapy for optimal results in treating addictions.
