Janet Halonen, Licensed Acupuncturist, Certified Yoga Meditation Instructor
I am a licensed acupuncturist and longtime Yoga/meditation instructor. The health care services I offer are steeped in the healing wisdoms found within both of these energy-based health care systems. I frequently will incorporate suggestions of gentle stretches, postural awareness, and breathing techniques into a patient's visit.
The foundation and principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine are based on understanding the complex needs of the individual. I spend a lot of time with my patients, getting to know them, and understanding what their concerns are. Historically, it was considered an honor to be entrusted with the care of someone's health. It is my intention to continue on with that tradition, and provide you with an exceptional health care experience.

Brian Hicks

Brian Hicks, Licensed Massage Therapist
My goal as a Licensed Massage Therapist is to provide you with more than just relaxation and stress relief. I focus on helping relieve pain and muscle tightness by working to align your body back to its natural posture and help increase the body's full range of movement through various forms of soft tissue massage, deep tissue massage and energy work. I also am deeply committed to fully understanding your individual needs so we can work together toward a positive outcome. My clients often comment that they've never had a massage therapist spend so much time talking and asking questions prior to a massage, that its refreshing to know that I really do care and want to know exactly how they are feeling or how they actually injured themselves. No two people alike, which is why no two massages I give are alike. I customize my work to create the best possible results for each of my clients.

Upton Thomas, III, M.D
I have practiced psychiatry in various ways over the years including medication management, psychotherapy, substance abuse treatment including Suboxone and Vivitrol use, Consult-Liaison hospital work as well as inpatient adult, child, and adolescent treatment. I was most fascinated by the change I saw in patients with long-term psychodynamic psychotherapy and am returning to this model in private practice. This type of medical treatment, which combines both psychotherapy and medication evaluation leads to much better patient outcomes in my experience.
