The other day, I was listening to a radio station and they were discussing the most important people in the year 2011 on a cover of a popular magazine. The question was asked - if you could chose the most important person in your life in the year 2011, someone who really made a difference who would this person be?
I thought of you Fred on the cover of that magazine.
This year was a rough year for me, sometimes very hopeless. Pondering this past year I thought of you and all the people at West Grove Clinic who loved and cared for me when I was not able to do this for myself. Meditating on this and the challenges this year has brought, I have come to the revelation that because of this, and your help, it clearly has been a time of incredible growth for me. Emotionally, spiritually and cognitively. Fred with your help and candid honest you have guided me to face myself, too discover what makes me who I am both the good and the not so good. You have placed seeds of hope and with baby steps and continued guidance I have faith that there is so much more hope, peace and happiness in store.
You have also taught me about how to have some kind of grip on the "new brain thinking" vs. the "old brain" thinking. I still struggle daily, when that happens I chuckle and say to myself "what would Fred say about this? With much thought and quietness of the heart the new brain will kick in. Thank you for the seeds of hope you have given me. With the help of my Gad I am beginning to see life differently. Excitement to discover who I am. I just want to thank you- thatnk the grace of God for your candid honestly, and for leading me to find the answers on my own. It's a constant journey and there will be ups and downs in this life. I am learning that I can find peace and happiness within myself whatever may be going on around me.
You are helping me to change my life and find peace and happiness within myself.
